OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the Horn of Africa Innovation Hub and Resilience Facility Centre is to:
- Mobilise, sensitise community to actionable capacity, comprehensive peace and community resilience throguh innovation and sustainable entrepreneurship
- Foster and build community capacity for green ecology, regenerative agricultures, reforestation and restoration in the community in the Horn of Africa
- Enhance transformative value chain productivity that promotes the growing of nutrient rich and drought tolerant crops and leafy vegetables
- Encourage accountable community leadership and collaboration with partners and government in regenerative society: to restore and replenish.
- Foster research and increase and increase knowledge among community members to achieve economic prosperity, ecological restoration and thrive.
- Lift the community up, empower entire generation with tools necessary to better the community and the environment for creative problem-solving, innovate, collaborate and courage to establish co-evolving capacity of natural systems that yields ramifying set of solutions.
- To promote peace, justice and cohesion in the community
- To promote the 30% tree cover across border communities in the Horn of Africa.
